2. Hosting and technical delivery
This website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages and the network of Cloudflare, Inc. Technical data such as your IP address, access time, requested page, browser and security information may be processed to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: MIVAWO’s legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation. Cloudflare provides a Data Processing Addendum, including provisions for international data transfers.
3. Artwork and project inquiries
When you submit an inquiry, your name, email address, organisation and location where provided, together with your message, are encrypted in transit and stored in the inquiry system operated for MIVAWO. Project inquiries may include the room type and wall dimensions, desired atmosphere, project phase, budget and timing ranges, and other voluntary project information. Room or project photographs are processed only if you send them personally by email after the initial review. Processing is necessary to respond to your request and take steps before entering into a contract, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Inquiries and related project materials that do not result in an engagement are normally deleted or anonymised within 365 days, unless legal retention or evidentiary obligations apply.
4. Contact by email
If you contact MIVAWO directly by email, the information you send is processed so that MIVAWO can respond to your inquiry. Your email provider and the email service used by MIVAWO also process the message. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
5. Optional analytics and ad measurement
Selecting “Analytics” loads the data-minimised MIVAWO analytics system and Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. Data may include viewed pages, interactions, campaign parameters, technical browser and device information, an approximate region and pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers. Google ad storage, ad user data, personalised advertising and ad measurement remain disabled with this choice. Only the separate “Analytics & marketing” choice permits Google Tag Manager to activate the Google Ads and Meta Pixel tags configured for MIVAWO. This measures whether an ad interaction leads to an inquiry confirmed by MIVAWO. Names, email addresses, message text and other inquiry content are never sent to these measurement services. No third-party tag is loaded before consent. GA4 user-level event data is retained for up to 14 months; MIVAWO analytics data is retained for no more than 395 days. 6. Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your choice at any time through “Privacy Settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent removes accessible analytics and advertising identifiers from this browser, sets analytics and ad storage to denied and stops future measurement events. Previous lawful processing remains unaffected.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Cloudflare may process technical connection data as a processor. If you consent to analytics, Google Ireland Limited is also a recipient. If you additionally select “Analytics & marketing” and the corresponding tags are active, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited may also be a recipient. Processing by affiliated companies outside the European Economic Area cannot be excluded. Google’s Data Processing Terms and Meta’s Data Processing Terms describe the applicable transfer mechanisms. Cloudflare states that it uses Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards; further information is available in Cloudflare’s GDPR resources.
8. Your rights
Under Articles 15–21 GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, including the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
